Be Prepared, continued

A good contractor will do much to make your remodeling experience as pleasant and worry free for you as possible. It all starts with a good design and thorough planning and continues with good communication during construction. This will include giving you a projected timeline for the project so you will know what will be happening and when, isolating the construction area and associated dust etc. from the rest of your home, keeping you informed of any delays and how they will affect the timeline, discussing with you the needs for storage and staging of materials and equipment before hand, etc.

In short– careful management and over site, jobsite organization and cleanliness and above all good communication, keeping you informed before and during the process, will help you to deal with the inconveniences that are necessary to achieve remodeling dreams.
